Ding Dong the Darkness is Gone

I have no plans for this year’s Winter Solstice, but I couldn’t be happier that it is here. I love this time of year, it is truly my favorite season. I love the cold, crisp air, and all the changes in nature and the atmosphere it creates. However, I don’t appreciate the effects of the lingering darkness. Even though my depression is under control, I’m still extremely sensitive to environmental triggers…like the lack of light.

Now that the light half of the year is upon us, I couldn’t be happier. I’m ready for the darkness to recede, and the light to come back into our lives. Brightness and blessing to you and yours. Celebrate the coming sun.

Have a Wonderful Winter Solstice, Cool Yule, Eventful Advent, Cheery Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kickin’ Kwanzaa, Festive Festivus, Sacred Saturnalia, Happy Hogswatch, Nifty Nogwatch, Hoppin’ Holiday Number 11, Decent Decemberween, Frivolous Flying Spaghetti Monster Holiday, Fun Freezingman, and an all-around High-Spirited Holiday!

Be blessed.
