Too Little Time
I’m late on the blogness. There are more than a few topics I intend to tackle, and new ones keep popping up. The latest is “How do you define a witch?” inspired by a discussion with Fire Lyte from Inciting A Riot. My definition varying from “Someone that uses natural means and/or materials combined with psychological tools and methods to bring about desired change” to “Witches practice a methodology based on the concept of power-from-within to bring about outward change, and a belief in an immanent connection with all energy fuels that ability, and the sacredness of the cyclical nature of life are both the inspiration and the materials used to wield that connection” and on it goes. It’s hard to keep track of all the questions and topics rattling in my brain lately. Every time I think I get a hold of something, someone contradicts me and makes me feel like a total outsider again. That’s fine. I am an outsider. But I do know some things…at least I thought I did.
On a brighter note, I am beginning to delve into my tarot project: one reading per day till I no longer have to look up the definitions of that cards. I am also in the process of (re)signing-up for my online pagan classes. Things are looking up.
